Hand-Painted Poppy Silk Scarf — A Quiet Tribute to Color and Craft
This silk scarf was not printed or mass-produced — it was painted slowly, by hand, on pure silk. Red poppies stretch upward, their petals soft and wind-borne, set against a backdrop of spring greens and coral tones. The colors shift gradually, like sunlight through garden leaves — from olive to gold, from rose to flame.
Created using the traditional cold batik technique, the scarf was painted by Svetlana Titova, whose brush follows the rhythm of natural forms. Her work draws from the centuries-old art of silk painting, but never imitates. Each scarf is a composition — balanced, deliberate, and made to be worn close to the body.
Lightweight and fluid, the silk responds to movement with a quiet shimmer. It folds easily, wraps gently, and warms the simplest outfit with its presence. Worn loose, tied, or draped, it suits moments both everyday and ceremonial.
